PRODUCER BIO
Justin currently serves as Executive Producer of The Group Theatre Too, LLC (GTT) in Manhattan. Since The Group’s creation with Michael Blevins in 2003 he has overseen and produced MAC Award-Winning cabaret artist, Alisa Schiff in Mama Said…The Songs of Cass Elliot as well as New York tap company, Generation Tap, who has performed in Tap City, Circle in the Square and the United Nations and was featured in Dancer Magazine and Dance Spirit. New York Productions Include: Count To Ten (2009 NYMF Selection and winner of Best Play 2009 - National Youth Theatre Award), Seesaw, Tape, Album and the annual Choreographer’s Canvas. Regional Productions Include: You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Love Letters, Vanities and The Subject Was Roses. GTT also created the original respect-your-body play, Aftermath seen by over 5,000 school students and is currently available for performance through Heuer Publishing. GTT maintains a distinguished Honorary Board of Artistic Advisors including Nicole Fosse, John Kander, Chita Rivera, Theodore Mann, David Rimmer, Mercedes Ellington, Maurice Hines, Bettye Morrow and Sue Samuels. In 2010 Justin produced David Rimmer's short film "Album" starring Jim Fyfe and Glynnis O'Connor. Mr. Boccitto has a strong foundation in the arts having worked professionally for The Metropolitan Opera, The Juilliard School, Willow Cabin Theatre Company, Broadway Dance Center, The New York Fringe Festival and Circle in the Square.
