Anthony Boccitto and Jenny Davis-Boccitto welcome Justin David Boccitto into the world at Morristown Hospital in Morristown, NJ on June 18th at 9:03am. Yes, a gemini is born.

Justin plays on the community soccer team. During one specific game he accidently scores a goal for the other team. He then tries Baseball...he is no Babe Ruth.

At age 11 Justin enrolls in The Centenary Young Performers’ Workshop at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ under the direction of Broadway/Film/& Television veteran Michael Blevins. Justin went home crying the first day of the program proclaiming to his mother, "I don’t think I am going to like it there." The following day he is dropped off at Centenary and is hooked. From that day forward he changed his mind about musical theatre and began a career as a young performer.

At age 13 Justin is cast in a production of Oliver at Paper Mill Playhouse starring Tony-award winner, George S. Irving and directed by Robert Johanson. In a review of the production he is recognized as "The standout of the workhouse boys."

After Oliver Justin lands his first spot in a national commercial for a Bank in Maryland directed by Robert Giraldi. Ironically the commercial is a spoof on the musical Oliver. He also begins freelancing with agent, Abbey Bluestone in NYC.

Theatre critic, Peter Filicia, writes, "Take it from me, who has been attending high school and community productions for over 20 years, I have never seen the likes of what Michael Blevins and the Centenary Young Performers achieve. It is a State Treasure!"

During the course of 8 years Justin appears in over 50 full-scale musicals at the Centenary Young Performers’ Workshop playing roles such as Danny Zukko in Grease, Jesus in Godspell, Mike and Paul in A Chorus Line, George M. Cohan in George M!, Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain, as well as performing at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in a dance concert entitled An American Sampler: 100 Years of Broadway Dance directed and choreographed by Michael Blevins.

Justin graduates from Hackettstown High School in New Jersey. A month after graduating he assisted Michael Blevins with a tap class for the teaching staff of Hackettstown High School. Oh, how the tables can turn!

In the early Fall Justin is accepted to the musical theatre program at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. He moves to New York in September and begins his training.

Justin performs in the Off-Broadway production of "Lucrece" produced by the Willow Cabin Theatre Company and directed by Tony-nominated director Edward Berkeley.

Justin appears in The Drama League’s Salute To Chita Rivera produced by Albert Stephenson, starring Ann Reinking, Alan Cumming, Bebe Neuwirth, Elaine Stritch, and choreographed by Chet Walker.

Justin graduates from Circle and appears in final productions including As You Like It, Into The Woods, and The Crucible. Directed by Edward Berkeley, Theodore Mann, and Alan Langdon, respectively.

Justin performs in Singin in the Rain at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, Ohio starring Broadway performer Charlie Marcus. He also produces, directs, and choreographs New York State of Mind, a benefit for The Red Cross’ 9/11 fund. The show consists of musical numbers about NYC and also an auction of Broadway memorabilia.

Justin is invited to instruct master tap workshops to Junior and Senior Drama Majors at the Juilliard School in New York City.

Justin works as assistant Director/Choreographer to Michael Blevins on a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Pomfret School in Vermont with Nicole Fosse as Dance Captain on the production.

Justin joins the faculty of Circle in the Square’s Summer Training Program teaching tap to musical theatre and straight theatre students.

Justin choreographs and co-directs the New York premiere of George M. Cohan: In His Own Words at the Chashama Theatre on 42nd Street. The show starred Broadway performer, Jon Peterson and is now published through Samuel French Inc.

Justin performs in Orlando, Florida with The Orlando Philharmonic along side Broadway veterans Connie Kunkle and Davis Gaines. His costumes are specially designed by Disney Entertainment.

With such a love for tap and theatre Justin created the four man tap company, Generation Tap. Members included himself, Michael Blevins, Nicky Romaniello and Eddy Francisco. Generation Tap has performed throughout the Metropolitan area including: The United Nations, Circle in the Square, Queens Theatre in the Park, Tap City (w/ Jason Samuels, Brenda Buffalino, Harold Cromer) and recently at the 2005 Tap Extravaganza (w/ Van "The Man" Porter & Dr. Jimmy Slyde).

Along with friend and associate Michael Blevins, Justin co-creates Group Theatre Too, a theatre collective in Manhattan. The company produces musicals, dance concerts, cabarets, one-act festivals and supports the tap company Generation Tap, which recently performed Off-Broadway in The NYC Tap Festival. Group Theatre Too also has an impressive board of Artistic Advisors including: Chita Rivera, Nicole Fosse, Theodore Mann, Mercedes Ellington, Mallory Graham, Sue Samuels, Bernard Kaplan, Bettye Morrow, and Maurice Hines.

Justin performs Off-Broadway with The New York Theatre Ballet in their production of Cinderella at the Florence Gould Hall. He dresses in full drag as he portrays the role of one Cinderella's Stepsisters.

Justin is cast in Otello at The Metropolitan Opera where he works under the direction of Broadway and Television fight choreographer B.H. Barry.

Justin is added to Circle in the Square's Notable Alumni list joining the likes of Kevin Bacon, Benicio Del Toro and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Click here to view

From 2007 to 2008 Justin and The Group Theatre Too produced the new musical Count To Ten, the New York revival of Seesaw as well as productions of Tape, The Subject Was Roses, Quick Curtains and the annual dance event The Choreographer's Canvas. Justin also officially joins the guest faculty at The Juilliard School and Broadway Dance Center and becomes director/choreographer at Circle in the Square Theatre School mounting productions of Tenderloin and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
